To Delete a Virtual Item or Virtual Item Group

You can delete virtual items and/or virtual item groups if you have the appropriate permission. Both virtual items and virtual item group objects must be free of all relationships in order to delete them.

CAUTION: Deleting a virtual item group will remove valuable historical information. Before you delete, consider marking it Historic instead, by setting the Date Obsolete field.
  1. Open the virtual item or virtual item group you want in the Content pane.
  2. Make sure all relationships have been removed.
  3. Click the Delete icon in the action bar.
  4. When prompted, click Yes to confirm.
